I still don’t get why it’s Cas who has to apologize over and over and over again…. he screwed up big time, fair enough, but he apologized and more importantly: he sacrificed his life countless times for the boys, for the world - and what about Dean and Sam using him like a weapon, like a slave for months? only calling him if they had a problem, not giving a fuck about what he was going through himself…??

THANK YOU! I keep saying this. Cas is NOT the only who needs to be apologizing for stuff and making amends.

I’m 98% the main focus of his return is gonna be on Dean (I’m sure Sam is feeling hurt too but he gets a pass here as far as who needs to apologize to who goes) feeling all “hurt” ‘WAH! You hurt me Cas!’ They’ve already said as much anyway. And they WILL, trust me, completely gloss over the fact that Cas was treated like UTTER CRAP FOR THE ENTIRETY OF SEASON 6. “I’m sorry for Sam’s wall and letting the souls get to me and killing some people..etc :( but ..I feel kinda hurt too, can you guise just try to be there for me too now? :(” “NO CAS WE ARE THE WINCHESTERS AND THIS IS OUR SHOW AND OUR FEELINGS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT MATTER AND WE’RE GONNA MAKE IT WORSE ON YOU BY CONTINUING TO BE ANNOYED BY YOU AND YELL AT YOU AND RUB YOUR MISTAKES IN YOUR FACE RATHER THAN TRYING TO BE FORGIVING BECAUSE HEY, WE’VE PRETTY MUCH ALL ALMOST DESTROYED THE WORLD ONCE OR TWICE AND HURT PEOPLE WE LOVED. Yea, I’m bitter and pessimistic because Show fails a lot in dealing with anyone else’s feeling or emotional development besides the Winchesters. And they rarely EVER call the Winchesters out on their sense of entitlement so yea, I’m jaded.

Honestly, this is EXACTLY how I expect it to go and I would be completely gobsmacked if it went any different. It’ll be all about Dean’s feelings and really I don’t think we’ll even get much about Castiel’s head space except for how sorry he is—BUT only in relation to Dean (and maybe Sam). Forget about the fact that he killed Balthazar and a large number of his brothers/sisters and that we know this is something that has always laid heavily on his conscience. I bet anything that Cas is going to have to die to earn his ~redemption and it will only be then, as he’s dying, that Dean will be able to ~forgive him. ACTUALLY, IF EVEN THEN. I’m sick and tired of watching Cas get himself killed for the Winchesters. What’s the point? The’ve never done anything close to resembling that much for him. Cas has done it more than enough already. And yeah, I just don’t see anything good happening as it pertains to Cas—which is beyond frustrating because it is so backwards considering the poor guy was just trying to keep everybody safe.
